Holy Family Hospital, Bandra, has been approved as a training centre for the Indian Collage of Critical Care Medicine (ICCCM) and Post MBBS Certificate Course from July 2015 session onwards, through Indian College of Critical Care Medicine, which is the Educational Division of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine.

The IDCCM is a one year course for MD / MS / DNB candidates and two years for DA / DTCD (Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Medicine). MCI recognized or equivalent candidates may apply. The base qualifications must be from a MCI recognized university.

Two seats are available for IDCCM Course.

Students shall be trained under their respective teachers / guides. Holy Family Hospital has 70 bedded state-of-the-art ICUs, which are managed by experienced intensivists. The teaching programme at Holy Family Hospital includes lectures, seminars, a journal club, clinics and case presentations. The hospital conducts Grand Rounds on the third Wednesday of every month with case presentations and discussions by students. There are morbidity and mortality discussions, discipline-wise, on a monthly basis. On the last Saturday of every month, a CME on a topic of current clinical interest by senior teachers / consultants / outside speakers of repute is held.
